ABOUT THE GUEST – TIA WASHINGTON

Tia Washington is a dedicated mother of seven and a seasoned professional in the Behavioral Health field. She has held influential roles including Family Partner and Field Training Specialist, and currently works with an interdisciplinary team of providers in the Children’s Community Support Collaborative (CCSC) — a program affiliated with The Home for Little Wanderers (HLW) and the Department of Mental Health (DMH).

A passionate advocate for systemic change, Tia serves on the Client Advisory Board (CAL) in the Child and Family Law Division (CAFL) of the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS). She is also deeply committed to advocating for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence through her work with Together Rising Above Coercion (TRAC) and the Massachusetts Family Advocacy Coalition (MFAC).

Her professional expertise, advocacy work, and personal journey reflect her unwavering dedication to improving the lives of families and building stronger, healthier communities.
